Visual Arts Teacher, Sculpture--PS / IS 206, Brooklyn, New York (2017 to present)

  • Developed curriculum and teach 3-D art and installation classes to Pre-K through grade 8 students including collaborative special education classes and gifted student populations. Units include ceramics, collage, observational sketching, and multi-disciplinary installations. 

Student Teacher, Visual Arts—Clinton School For Writers and Artists, New York (2017)

  • Middle / High School with an integrated arts curriculum.Developed and taught 7th and 8th grade ceramics unit.

Student Teacher, Visual Arts—PS 69K, Brooklyn, New York (2016 to 2017)

  • Developed curriculum and taught lessons to K to 5 classes in drawing, painting, collage and 3D design.

Instructor—New York University, Visionary Studios (2016)

  • Designed curriculum for pre-college contemporary art classes with gender studies theme. Curated group show. 

Adjunct Instructor—NYU High School Summer Art Intensive (2015—2017)

Taught ceramics and mold-making classes. Developed syllabi, led critiques, curated and installed shows of student work.

• Graduation honor awarded by NYU’s Department of Art and Art Professions.

Martin Wong Scholarship (2016)

 • Recipient of tuition grant for ceramics. Selected by NYU faculty and Foundation committee.

Will Barnet Student Art Show, National Arts Club—New York (2015)

• Awarded third place in juried art show. Represented NYU’s BFA studio art program in annual exhibit.

NYU BFA Artistic Practice Award (2015)

 • Awarded grant to cover the cost of an original sculpture. Selected by faculty committee.

Steinhardt Dean’s Scholars Program—NYU (2012 to 2013)

 • Selected to participate in program that culminated in a government-led trip to Cuba.
